Aside from OKDE, the Cliffite-derived groups always took a strong anti-nationalist stand, I assume that's still the case. Are there any others?
Well, we are in a very strange situation. Let me try to describe it.
First of all the Antarsya coalition issued this statement <http://pandiera.gr/%ce%b1%ce%bd%cf%84%ce%b1%cf%81%cf%83%cf%85%ce%b1-%ce%ba%ce%af%ce%bd%ce%b4%cf%85%ce%bd%ce%bf%cf%82-%ce%b3%ce%b9%ce%b1-%cf%84%ce%b7%ce%bd-%ce%b5%ce%b9%cf%81%ce%ae%ce%bd%ce%b7-%cf%83%cf%84%ce%bf-%ce%b1/> drafted by NAR which despite the explicit denunciation of Greek aggressiveness keeps equal distances between Greece and Turkey. SEK(sister organization of the British SWP) stood on the same ground with OKDE-Spartakos criticizing the failure of the draft  to focus on Greek aggressive policy. On the opposite side of the table stood two other organizations the Maoists of EKKE and the Mao-althusserites of ARIS. The statement was finally adopted by the majority of NAR-SEK-OKDE.

Eventually, EKKE aired its nationalist disagreement with a very bold -almost provocative- statement advocating the expansion of Greek territorial sea from 6 to 12 miles from the coast, under the title «The role of the revolutionary left: Calming or preventing the expansionist aspirations of the Turkish bourgeoisie? <http://pandiera.gr/%ce%bf-%cf%81%cf%8c%ce%bb%ce%bf%cf%82-%cf%84%ce%b7%cf%82-%ce%b5%cf%80%ce%b1%ce%bd%ce%b1%cf%83%cf%84%ce%b1%cf%84%ce%b9%ce%ba%ce%ae%cf%82-%ce%b1%cf%81%ce%b9%cf%83%cf%84%ce%b5%cf%81%ce%ac%cf%82-%ce%ba/>», while NAR in its common statement with EMER, has clearly moved closer to OKDE position from both Antarsya's and its own <https://narnet.gr/articles/%CE%B5%CF%80%CE%B9%CE%BA%CE%AF%CE%BD%CE%B4%CF%85%CE%BD%CE%BF%CE%B9-%CE%B1%CE%BD%CF%84%CE%B1%CE%B3%CF%89%CE%BD%CE%B9%CF%83%CE%BC%CE%BF%CE%AF-%CE%AD%CE%BD%CE%BF%CF%87%CE%B7-%CF%83%CF%85%CE%BD%CE%B1%CE%AF%CE%BD%CE%B5%CF%83%CE%B7-%CF%83%CF%84%CE%B7-%CE%B2%CE%BF%CF%85%CE%BB%CE%AE-%CE%B3%CE%B9%CE%B1-%CF%84%CE%B9%CF%82-%CE%B1%CE%BF%CE%B6> statements!

On the contrary, SEK abstained from any statement.
It is noteworthy that Savvas Matsas' EEK also abstained from any statement, contenting itself to the common statement with the Turkish DIP. As unimportant they may be, these microscopic maneuvers, are pointing to the difficulty of the left in general and of the internationalist left in particular  to cope with nationalism. And this is a sad situation.

On the other hand, Sotiris' article refers indirectly to these maneuvers. To indicate the context i must notre that  Sotiris' organization ,ARAN, former constituent of ANTARSYA, had a split. Some of them remained in ANTARSYA while Sotiris himself and his co-thinkers, imbued in a popular front logic,  joined Popular Unity despite its clearly nationalist trends and its red-brown affiliations. But Popular Unity collapsed and ARAN is now  clearly disoriented. The journalistic geopolitical approach in his article proves it.

As for the article per se, some points are crucial in my view
First of all the geopolitical analysis is at best a snapshot of imperialist intentions in the complicated geometry of antagonisms in the imperialist chain. As such it presupposes a calm and obeisant working class . This may be acceptable if you speak as political scientist, but certainly not, if you speak as a (even wannabe) revolutionary organization. Political science is about probabilities while politics is about possibilities. What is crucial from the viewpoint of a socialist organization is what if (and how) the working class could step in. The geopolitical view may of course be very useful in a revolutionary situation for a mass vanguard party. Today such a party does not exist. Today the point is to disrupt the national unity and for this task geopolitics can hardly be useful. The geopolitics of Sotiris have also the peculiarity of an absolute distinction between gaining national unity, seeking regional hegemony and running after the natural gas Eldorado. This is metaphysics. The Turkish or Greek bourgeoisie must *build* national unity and*by this seek* regional hegemony *in order to conquer* the disputed natural resources. And in this chain a revolutionary organization can only disrupt the national unity.

If it is really about disrupting national unity, then Sotiris position has serious flaws. 1. He clearly considers Turkey as much more aggressive than Greece.  Is this supposed to disrupt the Greek national unity or it drives working people to side with their own oppressors ? 2. He considers that "expanding its territorial sea to 12 nautical miles in the Aegean [... is...] a sovereign right guaranteed by international law". Thus he fails to see the flagrant absurdity: if Greece is to expand its territorial sea to 12 miles all nations of the Black sea (including Russia) would be cut off from the Mediterranean and the oceans. Furthermore he fails to point to the present situation with 6 miles Greek territorial sea but 10 miles of Greek airspace. In those 4 miles,  (between 6 and 10 miles), a ship is navigating through international waters by his part under the sea, while crossing the Greek airspace by its upper part! Of course such an issue has never been raised  by Greece, but it is still implicitly ridiculous and aggressive. *And that must be said*! What is more sinister, is that in those 4 miles of airspace , Greek and Turkish airplanes have been for decades constantly engaging in virtual battles and some pilots have got killed. 3. As for his proposed "Left Response" one may ask: But who will "disengage Greek foreign policy from its current attachment to the US and EU" , only to get the usual popular front answer "of truly democratic and progressive political solutions".

The fruits of Sotiris geopolitical analysis are too bitter...

In solidarity
