I find it unbelievably sad that even with Stalin (and the Soviet Union) in
the rear view mirror, even a respected Historian is so caught up in the
POLITICAL struggles of his youth (is that explanation?) that he cannot even
write BASIC, (good???) history ---

and of course the brainwashing of many future generations will have bad
results ---

As a non-expert, I am willing to concede that it is possible that
"Leninism" would "inevitably" lead to "Stalinism" --- but this book (if the
reviewer is right) is not a guide to and serious discussion of that issue
---
