Andrew, I respect you but wonder if you aren't falling into the trap that
Chomsky tried to refute in his essay --- It's been ages since I read it,
but I seem to remember he argued that the anarchist organization of
Barcelona was MUCH MORE SUCCESSFUL as a way of supporting the war effort
than the "traditional" (liberal and "left") analyses of the Spanish Civil
War were willing to admit --- because they were "blinded" by ideology.   --
Of course he could be wrong but one thing you have to admit about Chomsky's
writings --- he EXHAUSTS all sources ---
