If Trump keeps control of the GOP, the Democratic leadership will surely move to scoop up the Lincoln Project mugwumps and any availablee "moderates" like Romney. If the Democratic party generally opts to self-Nixonize with fiscal responsibility, law and order, and the Big Stick abroad, what will become of the burgeoning progressive wing of the party? I don't just mean Bernie but "the Squad" and its new acquisitions and--more importantly--their supporters.
