[Edited Message Follows] 1. Yes, the Bolsheviks overthrew capitalism in Russia but it was not a developed Western society but still a predominantly peasant one which is why I did not refer to it in my comments.
2. Yes, there were revolutionary crises in the West, particularly in the aftermath of the Russian Revolution and during the depression between the world wars, but my point was that was then and this is now. If revolutions couldn't be realized when the militant and expanding workers movement was at its highest point, it's delusional to believe you're engaged in "revolutionary" politics when that movement is at its lowest ebb. 3.
