Thank you for posting this. Michael Meeropol's article is an example of a creative use of Marxist theory to explain the trajectory of an individual, Judge Kauffman, and of the political environment of the US over at least a generation. That it explains the behavior of the court and the system in the injustice carried out against his parents, and the suppression of the labor movement and the left un the United States is no small accomplishment.
