* Remember the sudden PRC end to its draconian COVID lockdowns without adequate 
preparation for a wave of infections? That was because white-page and other 
protests had almost reached an exploding point.

* Why don't you review the massive state machinery that removes social media 
posts, calls in people to the police for a chat about their post, and in so 
doing keeps many others from even touching on issues the state does not want 
mentioned?

* The state's company union All China Federation of Trade Unions cannot be 
challenged.

In such circumstances, to speak of what surveys show is naivete at best.
