Not sure if anyone here is interested in this overall topic. Which perhaps is really about the continued slide of the UK towards Nigel Farage-ist near-to- fascism . . . and not so much the NHS itself, although that is alone pretty interesting and worrying for me anyway.
However. . . Starmer (PM) and Streeting (Min of Health) amply fulfill their missions for further erosion of the NHS. Most recently Starmer extols the virtues of high-tech diagnostics linked to industrial apps and "self-referral" to avoid the use of (GPs) General Practitioners. This person was a key element of the NHS at one stage but has become incredibly over-worked and less incentivised. Such a person did not really exist in US systems; were there but poorly run in Canadian systems. I don't yet have an exact source for that but I surmise so. Trouble is - that leaves the working class (still without any party of its own or a United front of its own) - delivered to a tangentially close fascist party.
