Thanks Simón and Chris: Nice Video!

Although I do not think the Trump/Rubio policy can really be called a
strategy, I think it has two targets other than the obvious target of
Venezuela. The first of these is Colombia where a general election is
scheduled for Spring 2026. Rubio is closely tied to the Conservative Party
machine of former president Andres Pastrana (as is US Senator Bernardo
Moreno). The second is the tripartite Gusano alliance of Florida: the old
Cuban base plus the more recent right wing arrivals from Venezuela and
Colombia. The Gusano alliance has been shaken by Trump's betrayal of the
Venezualans covered by Temporary Protective Status in the USA, but strongly
supports military efforts against Maduro and the government of Cuba.
