For the first thiry years, Israel was dominated by the Labor Zionist parties (starting with the Mapai Party which eventually merged with other parties to form the Labor Party in 1968). It was under the Labor Zionists that the Nakba occurred in 1948. It's a mistake to blame all of the crimes of the Israeli state on the Freedom Party or other right-wing parties. Even with the Deir Yassin massacre, even though most of the perpretators were from the Igun and Leni paramilitaries (which were associated with the right-wing Revisionist Zionists), it was also the case that the Hagana and Palmach (which were associated with the Labor Zionists) played a significant role too.
