No system lasts forever, but we can't reliably forecast when it will do no longer be able to deliver reforms. If capitalism is indeed on the brink of collapse, it will be the most politically advanced workers such as those who have rallied to Mamdani who will be in the forefront of a mass radicalization, and it will be those Marxists and others on the far left who join and actively assist them in their further political development who will be best positioned to exercise leadership.
