Yes, it was in 1973 and it reflected the wider split in the United Secretarian of the FI. We were a minority tendency within the LSA which lined up with the European majority, primarily because of its support of the Argentine section's turn to guerrilla warfare. But our opposition to the LSA's orientation to the NDP and to trade union work also played a part. We sympathized and had contact with the SWP's minority Proletarian Orientation Tendency which also favoured the European majority.
