The Iran War is a historic event which already now, after only 48 hours,
directly affects more countries in the Middle East than any other
military conflict in this region since 1973. This war will shape the
future not only of Iran itself but also of Trump’s presidency, the
Zionist settler state as well as of the whole Middle East. As we noted
in the first RCIT statement on this war: “/If the [Zionist-American]
aggressors win, the Palestinians and other peoples in the region are
threatened with even more oppression and genocide. However, if the
savage terrorists are defeated, it could ring the bells for an Intifada
in the whole region – an Arab Revolution which could help to strengthen
the heroic Palestinian resistance, to weaken and bring down the
genocidal settler state and to drive out the reactionary tyrants who
serve the imperialists!/”
