Ukraine and Iran, in other words, are doing the same thing. Iran supplied Russia with drones not out of love for Putin or hatred of Ukraine, but because they imagined it as an investment whereby Russia would help them if under attack by Israel/US. They imagined wrong, of course. Just as Ukraine imagines wrong, given Trump's rather obvious support to Putin's position on Ukraine.
