I urge you to read and think about this report of Christian fundamentalist fanatic US army officers preaching among the troops stationed near Iran. They are saying this is part of god's end times plan. This refers to the rapture, etc. It closely tracks the Traditionalist belief that after a world cataclysm we will return to a golden age. From all of these points of view there can be only one outcome, one logical development, to this belief: Use of nuclear arms in Iran. In the past any sane person would have rejected this as hysteria. Now, hysteria is starting to take over US politics.
