Furthermore, according to several sources, including the Jerusalem Post <https://www.jpost.com/middle-east/iran-news/article-892647>, Netanyahu had pitched the plan to attack Iran to Bush, Obama and Biden and they all said "no". That shows several things: First it destroys the claim that Israel controls US foreign policy. What it does show is that Trump has two close allies in the world - Putin and Netanyahu - and they can play him like a fiddle. Trump is different from all previous presidents, Democrat and Republican alike. Since he's taken over the Republican Party, that means that party has undergone a real change. As far as Palestine - sure it's hugely important, but I think Iranians would disagree that that's the only issue in the world.
