as you will know I am not a political supporter of Hamas. But in
politics it is important to see ont only black and white but also the
shades in between.
Hamas did certainly not establish democracy in the besieged enclave of
Gaza (much more besieged than Cuba ever was). But it allowed various
other secular and religious parties with different positions and
ideologies to exist, to hold public rallies, to have armed militias,
etc. (PFLP, DFLP, PIJ, Popular Resistance Committees, etc.). In
contrast, the Cuban regime allows only the existence of a single party -
the ruling PCC. These are well-known facts or do you deny these?
Furthermore, the Palestinian resistance has fought against the
imperialist aggressor five wars since 2008 ... and survived under huge
sacrifices even the genocidial war in the last three years. What has
been the record of the Cuban regime in fighting imperialism in the past
two decades? Yes, they provided a few dozen bodyguards to Maduro and
many of them were killed by the Yankees on 3 January (clearly these
bodyguards fought in contrast to the coward Bolivarian regime in
Caracas). But compared with the Palestinians, this is not much of
anti-imperialist resistance!

Regarding the "reactionary Castro-Chavista regimes in Venezuela and
Cuba," I don't recall RCIT attacking Hamas as a reactionary regime
while the Palestinians are under attack from US/Israeli imperialism.
Why attack Cuba when it is under a US blockade? What is RCIT trying to
accomplish with their anti-Cuban propaganda at this conjuncture? Is
RCIT speaking to the Cuban working class or to people in other places?
I don't see this as "consistent Anti-Imperialism" at all.
