Strong suggestion: Avoid HTML::Widget.  As in, flee.

I spent a while beating on it and became increasingly sad.
Rose::HTML::Form has made me much happier. The quality of the
documentation and the pleasant demeanor of the author led me rapidly
to evalute Rose::DB too, where I was also pleased. 

So now I've got Catalyst, Rose (::DB and ::HTML) and Mason in my app.
So Many Buzzwords!
