I'm sending this over to the masq list in case someone there has
experience with masq with multiple modem lines. 

This is not a topic that is appropriate for masq-dev, which is for
discussion of the actual masquerading code and implementation of the
technology. 

Please also check out http://www.indyramp.com/eql/ for information about
EQL, which does a primitive form of load balancing over multiple serial
line connections. EQL has nothing directly to do with masquerading,
although you may be able to masquerade behind an eql connection. I haven't
tried. (That howto is under development, and
suggestions/comments/observations are welcome as I work on revising it.)
