Its a known issue that file transfers and chat don't work
yet. The author is working on it though.

A buddy of mine has the same issue under WinNT but I don;t have
the problem. To be honest, ICQ is a peice of shit though I like
its service. Oh well.. we're stuck unless we use a true Linux
client.
