It uses that danged H.323 protocol. 100% dynamic ports on the
whole portrange. Ie, you'd have to forward *every* single port or
it wouldn't work. I guess a masq module might be able to
work around it, but I wouldn't really know.
I've been in contact with Mediaring support, and they are
almost ready to start sending out the first alpha release of
the new, firewall friendly, version of Talk. Supposedly I'm on their
list of alpha testers so, if they come true on their promise to
send me the version, I'll keep you posted if you like.
