/* HINT: Search archives @ http://www.indyramp.com/masq/ before posting! */ I've managed to get ipchains masquerading working with the minimal installation techniques listed in the mini-howto, but seeing as how my machine is up 24/7 I figured some security was in order. Therefore I cruised on over to http://rlz.ne.mediaone.net/linux/firewall/ (Great Stuff!) Unfortunately, I seem to be having some difficulties, with regards to the fact that my external adapter is a DHCP device. I keep getting the "Firewall: dhcp not configured" ... I read the notes stating that the config script was meant for versions up to 5.2, and that things would need to be updated in regards to dhcp for v6.0 ... Has anyone here had any success with this? I'm also a wee bit confused when it asks for my DHCP server range... I take i that since my external IP is 209.226.79.x that I would enter 209.226.79.0 in this area? Thanks in advance!
