/* HINT: Search archives @ http://www.indyramp.com/masq/ before posting! */ Hello, My problem has improved somewhat. I now have IP Chains working, but only for 1 (one) session. I mean that as soon as SuSE 6.1 boots up I can do everything only ONCE. If I ping the outside world for 5 minutes (or 5 seconds) and stop, then attempt the same ping again, my masqing services have stopped working. Last night I did a 5 ping to an outside location and it worked great, then attempted it immediatly again and the services had stopped. I then rebooted the machine and pinged the same site for 2578 times non-stop with no problem and when I stopped, the service stopped too, I could not ping again till I rebooted the machine. This is a dual boot machine and the other OS (TurboLinux 3.0.1) works continually with the same hardware at the same time. I did extensive testing prior to submitting this ticket. I hope there is some explanation for this for I have never seen this before. I also have never run SuSE either and I am looking forward to using it soley as my firewall box.
