I think it would be good to add more information on testing, i.e. how to
demonstrate that the masq is working, and what to do when some of the
tests fail.  I see too many people using "ping" to try and test their IP
connectivity, when most folks turn off ICMP masquerading.

I also see a lot of people enabling AUTOFW, PORTFW, and TRANS_PROXY,
when these are likely features that they will never make use of.  I
could probably write a section on kernel configuration.  :)

This is good, though I sense that most of the folks on this list are 2.0
users.  Still, 2.1 keeps getting better and better ( so they say).  :)

I am told that it is good to use the -W option, for security reasons; I
think it just needs to be made clear what the meaning of that option is.

I have never used theses; so I cannot comment.  I don't find the ipfwadm
rules all that confusing, but then, I've been doing networks for some
time now, so netmasks do not frighten me.  :)
