I received an update on the Lower Cape Ambulance.

Lower Cape Ambulance is indeed the prrimary transport service to Cape
Cod Hospital in Hyannis. LCA has fulltime staff. Typically they staff
1 ambulance in Truro and 1 ambulance in Provincetown. Sometimes, LCA
staff uses Ptown FD ambulances.

Provincetown FD and Truro FD use oncall / pager equipped staff. The
only exception is that the PTown FD has a FT crew on duty in the
summer.

>From yesterdays runs - 197 was a Ptown FD amb staffed by LCA staff -
LCA check in both with the Truro FD dispatcher and the Ptown FD
dispatcher in order to keep everyone up to date on unit locations - it
takes one hour to transport patients to Hyannis
