The homeless guy had a cut on his head and was bleeding. The 2 guys were trying to help him. The homeless guy did not want to be helped. I said "why dont you let him go for a moment?". They let the homeless guy go. He immediately calmed right down. He didnt move till a mounted cop showed up. The mounted cop radioed for an ambulance. I guess that was good lesson in deescalation for me. (This was in the doorway of a small store on Winter St IIRC. The 2 guys were employees of the store. They were just trying to help.
