tape of the Potter Valley vegetation fire - starts approx 6 minutes into the tape - Potter Valley FD + 4 Cal Fire engines + aircraft are dispatched - tape from Broadcastify - July 3 2017 404 PM PDT Here is the Radio Reference info for Mendocino County - https://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?ctid=205 I think what we hear on the tape is the recording starts on the County Fire Dispatch channel (153.95 R) and then jumps to the priority channel which is the Cal Fire Local channel (151.385 R) (or perhaps vice versa). Apparently the entire dispatch is simulcast on both channels. 'Check back' (acknowledgement of the dispatch) is done on the "Command" channel - which is given as "Command 8" - which is apparently 'Cal Fire Command 8' (151.445 R) I have heard mention of "County Red 7" and "County Red Tone 1" when listening to this scanner feed. So apparently the County Red channel is set up like the Cal Fire channel - multi repeaters with the same output and input freqs - with a different (mobile) operator selected tone (OST) for the input of each repeater.
