The Google people have expressed their interest to support universities
that are teaching FOSS. What started as a discussion
in a "private" mailing list is now going to be brought to an open list
(http://groups.google.com/group/google-summer-of-code-discuss).
Although for the time being they are just discussing ideas you might
want to subscribe and follow the developments...
