COMPETITION"
On Wednesday, July 25, MBICC and Microsoft
Indonesia unveils Microsoft Asia Student .NET
Competition, an IT competition for university
students to develop aplications for Web services which are based
on XML, .NET Framework and Visual Studio
.NET.
The competition is expected to showcase the best
and brightest of students from 11 Asian
countries including China, Singapore, Malaysia,
South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam,
and Hong Kong.
First, second, and third-place finalists will be
entitled to a one-year scholarship from Microsoft.
The grand-prize winner will receive:
*1 laptop computer.
*Desktop computers for the respective university.
*A visit to Microsoft Corp. campus in Redmond,
Washington, USA.
Winners will be announced on October 17 in Seoul,
South Korea; awards will be personally handed
over by Bill Gates, the Chairman of Microsoft
Corporation.
