Folks, I am trying to install matplotlib 0.87.5 by compiling it. I'm using python 2.5 RC1 (yes - bleeding edge) on opensuse 10.1 on an amd64 chip. python 2.5rc1 and numpy 1.0b2. I'll try to install 1.0b5 but I don't think that's the cause. I've made sure all the suse packages needed for matplotlib are installed. However, I get gcc compiler errors (using gcc 4.1) included below. Any thoughts?
