Can anyone tell me a way to speed up the visualization process in the MAUVE GUI? The computer I'm using still has 10Gb of RAM available.
Seems like it was working fine only a month ago, but now on multiple computers, even just aligning two bacterial genomes will complete, but the visualization takes forever or hangs. Has a Windows update killed something? Have hardware accelerators ever been a problem? Using two monitors bad? Thanks, Peter -- Peter R. Hoyt, Ph. D.
