A/UX has a lot of security holes in it, too, which is unfortunate because it is a truly unique operating system. There has been an attempt to patch many of them, though, and a lot of the jagubox fixes are once again available. However, it is not for the Unix novice either, and I would definitely be hesitant about putting it in a production environment. Too bad -- it was an excellent concept. :-( > The NetBSD site doesn't list the Q950 as supported, but I did find a few > resources about it. I don't generally advocate Linux on mac68k largely because of its relative infancy, but I believe it is supported, last I looked. -- ----------------------------- personal page: http://www.armory.com/~spectre/ -- Cameron Kaiser, Point Loma Nazarene University * [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- If a seagull flies over the sea, what flies over the bay? ------------------ -- MaX-list is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... / Buy books, CDs, videos, and more from Amazon.com \ / <http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect-home/lowendmac> \ Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> MaX-list info: <http://lowendmac.com/linux/max.shtml> Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/max-list%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Macintosh?
