No no no, XPF is for my beige G3.  YDL is for the 3400.  Sorry for the multi-*nix 
confusion.

I think OF is just too stupid to find the proper boot partition, or too dumb to know 
what to do with it once it finds it, or something.  I can boot the X CD to install, 
but can't boot off the HD once I'm done.
