No, that's the problem.  
I can't get it to do an XPF install.  
I could try deleting everything on the OS X part, I suppose.

How do I get the "System Disk application"?

I'm pretty sure I've got the rev 2 or 3 machine (since it's a 300) but I should check. 
 
Not that any of the problems reported with the first ones sound like what I'm having.
