I've just installed YDL 3 on an Ibook 800 with 640mg RAM installed on 10g of hard disk space. Everything is working ok (as far as I know, which isn't far) except that when I try to set up a network connection, I get a bug message and no further. I tried reinstalling twice and continually get the same thing. I enabled "eth0" and "eth1" at installation/configuration. When booting, I get an ok for port eth0 but failed for eth1. Is this indicative of the problem? Any solutions?

Also, is there a good book that anyone would recommend for a new linux user with moderate Mac skills?

thanks a heap,
Kent (on digest mode)
