Odd how things work. I'm as newbie as anyone, when it comes to linux. But 
about this:

Under SUSE 8, I switched monitors and everything worked great right away! 
Of course, this was not one of my Macs we're talking about, but a PC.

Does anyone use a SUSE distribution for Macs?
