I have a rev A BW 400Mhz. This means I cannot install linux/os X without problems.
This message posted via a 300 MHz B & W G3 running OS X, through a SMTP server that is the same hardware but running YDL 3.0 ( upgraded from 2.3 ).
Did you have problems, or just some heresay?
I have used the Tempo ATA cards ( 66 and 100 ) without problems running OS X or Linux. I have also used SIIG ATA cards.
I have had the best luck with Adaptec 2930 and 3940 SCSI cards running both OS X and Linux. Some of the older ATTO cards I have don't have OS X or Linux drivers. One of the newer ATTO cards I have uses a Symbios chip, so it works in both OS X and Linux.
