I fixed my problem....my problem was, that while setting up an instance, the
database parameters weren't set properly.
Just as infos for others with the same problem.

When I try to display the RUNDIRECTORY, I just got

"OK" back, nothing more.

When I use the command
>dbmgetf.exe -d seetec -u dbm,seetecdbm -k KNLDIAGERR
all I got back is:

Error while receiving data! Operation aborted!
-24994, ERR_RTE: runtime environment error
1,wrong path

** EOF **
0 Bytes of 0 Bytes received!

What went wrong?

Thanx!

Chris

Hello!

kernel.exe isn't running.

A thing I found:
Shouldn't be a directory named <database name> in <root>\indep_data\wrk
There is just \.DProgra in there and some logfiles.

Any other hints?

Hi Chris,

this does most likely mean that the database is
(somehow) already running.
Check in the process list in the Taskmanager for "kernel.exe"
Kill the Process kernel.exe and retry.

regards, Axel
