Hey Folks, we developed a small location management tool with about 30 locations in our database. Everything ist based on SAP DB 7.4, php 4.3.10 and an apache2 webserver. The hardware of the server is: SuSE Linux 8.2, 2 GB Ram, 2x2,8 GHz, 4*36 GB in a SCSI-RAID-10-System.
Ok, the problem is: As we developed the system we were 2 persons using this system and all pages were loading extremely fast. Now we added a user-management and partly we have 10-15 persons working with this system - and the results are loading *extremely* slowly. We have about 800-1000 Statements while the page loads. "top" showed me that sapdb uses at peaks about 98% auf CPU-Power. I don't know if this is normal or not. Has anyone a kind of idea why the system ist that slow when several persons are working with it? Thanks a lot in advance.
