Hello, all.

I had a malfunction on my workstation (XP Pro), and the some of my DBMGUI
registry entries were corrupted. Now, I can't run the program, can't
uninstall, and can't reinstall/repair.

If I try to run DBMGUI, I get the message: Run-time error '429': ActiveX
component can't create object.
If I try to reinstall the program, it says it wants to "update" from version
7.5.0.0 to version 7.6.00.12. If I allow it to proceed, nothing much
happens.
I can't uninstall, because the "update" removed the uninstall information
from the registry.

I need this application to work, and I really don't want to reload the
entire OS to make it work. Can anyone tell me how to convince the installer
not to try to "update" but to completely reinstall?

Thanks,

Mark Thomas
