aloha folks :)
first, hello to all of ya, i'm new to MaxDB and despite using MySQL for
sometime this is my first post so...there will be more :)
now, i've got question to ask. i've installed MaxDb 7.6.0.12 complete ,
+ installed SQL studio and DBM, same version. Have Win XP with SP2. All
went well.Now i hit configuration wizard icon so I can create a
database, and stangely (for me) it invokes office pro edition 2003
setup...and it looks for a file SKU011.cab. Why? I've tried searching
the net, but didnt find any threads regarding both of them - MaxDB and
Office. I'm just curious why it looks for Office? I mean will install
but I want to know what it behind this thingy and why it looks thru
office at all?
aaaand if i keep hitting cancel on the window that requests sku011.cab
it keeps trying to locate it, and the installation procedure of locating
the file keeps coming back, roll-back and roll-on, and after several
(perhaps 10) times of hitting cancel i get the configuration wizard...
whats up with this?
