Ralf,

the cache is for all kinds of data.  I suggest you get yourself a book
about basic DB technology to better understand how RDBMS' work
internally.  That'll certainly help.

I'am sorry I can't find a size-parameter, which is set for indexes. I don't
mean the cache_size. The chache_size is only for normal selects etc., isn't?
Or is it also for the saving of indexes for tables?
