Humm, I believe it's due to the version of Mac OS X.
I didn't use this code for a while, but I'm quiet sure it requires Mac
OS X 10.6 or maybe 10.7.
Could you try with these versions? Unless you may get an update for the
USB/Serial Adpater driver.
