Let me know if you have any consultants with the following skills Job : Business Objects Tester Location : Austin, TX Duration : 12+ Months Job Description: Tester for project to upgrade Business Object 6.5 to Business Objects XI. Assistant in analysis and training activities. Responsibilities: a.. Performs testing and end-user support for the Business Objects upgrade project. May be an escalation point for project issues. b.. Works directly with the client and other project stakeholders to complete user acceptance testing and to provide rollout support to end-users. c.. Coordinates and perform testing activities including test planning, test execution, and user-acceptance testing. d.. Assists in analysis and end-user training activities. May include gathering business requirements from stakeholders and system users, and producing required documentation. e.. Assist in developing end-user training content. May assist in end-user training sessions. f.. Effectively utilize project and test management systems to plan and track work. g.. Define and perform post-deployment verification procedures. h.. Document work as defined by documentation standards. Utilize documentation management system to maintain documentation. i.. Maintain service request, risk, and issue documentation in project management system. j.. Peer review work done by other team members and enforce standards. k.. Escalate project risks and issues as appropriate. l.. Maintain effective relationships with system users, stakeholders, and other outside entities (i.e. vendors) within own area of responsibility. m.. Operate largely independently within set guidelines, but managerial guidance is available. n.. Report weekly status. o.. Report time into time tracking system in an accurate and timely manner. p.. Apply procedures to ensure accuracy of output. q.. Perform administrative tasks, such as taking meeting notes and gathering project metrics. Required Skills: a..
