The digital projects at History San Jose fall under the Collections &
Exhibitions Department. I am responsible for all digital projects and I
report to the Director of Collections & Exhibitions. However, I work
closely with a few consultants, the Education Department, and Media
Relations.

Good luck finding the right home for you and your projects.

Subject: Digital Initiatives and Organizational structure

Would anyone on the list be willing to share information regarding where
your Digital Projects/Digital Initiatives areas fit within your
organizational structure? We are trying to determine if
content-producing areas (sometimes called Digital Projects/Initiatives,
Online Access, etc.) are typically housed within the IT department,
collection/curatorial department, or elsewhere. Are there any
institutions that have content-based web departments outside of IT?

Your help is greatly appreciated!
