Hi all,

Probably everyone else knows this already but I've just found a useful
tip for searching big a long list for newsgroups...

Here goes:-
1 > Open Dopus or a text editor with search facilities
2 > Open a file called grouplist.#### (#### stands for the user, may
not exist and just be called Grouplist) from the MicroDot/Data drawer.
3 > Watch as it opens amazingly faster than the group manager!
4 > Search for any string or occurence of a text e.g. "amiga" and
locate all the groups related.
5 > Write down the news group name. e.g. alt.sys.amiga
6 > Go back to MicroDot and select new newsgroup fom the menu and
enter the name you recorded earlier and hey presto you now just have
to subscribe to it and you receive mails. Wahey.....

Sorry kninda long winded but this puts MD in a whole new light.....
I got fed up of waiting for MUI to think about displaying the huge
list on my A1200 so I went and had a look for myself :) Its a lot
quicker and easier to use in my book especially with free4all
supporting 40 000+ ng.....
