If you are issuing single commands, you may as well do it like this:

rx "address md.1 'md2-arexx-command'"

eg. rx "address md.1 'ExtractSelectedMsgs T:allmsgs NOREQ APPEND'"

At least, I think that's right.  You'll find out when it returns an error
:-)

You're right - you do need to refer to the ARexx port, unless you are
running a script directly from MD-2.  I left that bit out, but the port
name is MD.1
