Debian (www.debian.org) has an Amiga version of GNU/Linux, a free Unix
clone.  Works quite well, although you really need at least an '040
Amiga for it to be useful.  An '060 would be better.

I personally run Linux on an old Pentium 133 box with 64MB RAM.  More
than fast enough as a home or small office server or a stand-alone
desktop.
