The problem is more that it has several glaringly obvious bugs that are noticed in daily usage. The list so far is: - References: header gets too long - Various headers are removed/reset when editing messages - Crashing when replying (as per my email) - X-Faces not importing - Accounts cannot be deleted Older ones which may be fixed now, but I haven't tested: - Use seperate message window can't be selected - ARexx menu item number 2 (or is it three?) doesn't work properly - A cancelled newsgroup message causes the entire newsgroup to be downloaded - Mail download manager problems - Filters do not work on news - > Does anyone notice whether the latest verion now checks for new emails - > regularly? Mine doesn't APPEAR to :( There are also a bunch of improvements I would like to see, including: - More/better ARexx commands - An option to update the newsgroup list with new groups, rather than having to download the whole thing (and show only the newly downloaded groups, as well as all) - Support SummertimeGuard (or similar - hopefully OS4 will include DST functions/switching) to switch DST at the correct time - Support different character sets (OS4 has functions implemented to switch the font charset, which will make this very easy once the NDK and OS is available :)) - Add an option to download only posts since xx/xx/xx - empty newsgrop get the option of "all" or "last 100", but sometimes you want just the last few days, especially if you have lost all the posts for some reason or been away. I would rather the existing bugs were fixed first though. I have probably missed some, but most of the above have been known about for years. Chris
