Check your recording source. Some older portable CD players were known
to not emit track marks properly. See if 1) it works properly with
another CD player or 2) it works properly if you try some other MD
recorder.

If you have 2 or more bad MDs in a row, you probably have a problem
with your equipment, sorry to say.
